Teamlead Credit Risk in Rotterdam

For one of our clients in Rotterdam we are looking for a Team Lead Credit to manage the Credit Risk Team. The main focus will be mitigating our group credit risk position with financial statement analysis of counter parties, reporting and monitoring credit risks.

The Credit Risk Team has a centralized position within the organization and requires an enthusiastic colleague who is eager to further develop credit risk management within the organization. You will be  managing a team of 3 members, with the main goal of building a zero loss track record. The total group portfolio managed by the team includes 5000+ customers with credit limits up to USD 100M. One of the main objectives is to position ourselves as a partner of our commercial business, by adding value in terms of risk analysis and cash flow optimizations. 

You will be responsible for the credit risk management of several portfolios with customers in North-West Europe. You will conduct financial performance analysis to determine creditworthiness of new and existing customers, monitor their credit risk position with reports and identify potential risks. Moreover, you will track payment performance of our portfolio to support our cash flow. The team has a strong focus on increasing efficiency and effectivity of processes, which provides the opportunity to work on improvement projects. You will manage various projects related to Credit and Management information. You have experience with internal stakeholder management and know how to build a successful team. 

The ideal candidate has a strong affinity with analyzing businesses from a financial perspective and can communicate the results clearly. Your reporting line will be into the Group Risk Manager.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A Master degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting 
• More than 3 years relevant experience in financial statement analysis
• Excellent command of the English language, Dutch. French or German is a pre
• A solution oriented mindset
• Responsible, reliable and accurate
• You present yourself as a pro-active person
• Eager to learn and develop yourself

Salary package up to €80K plus bonus
