(Senior) Business Controller with excellent growth potential in Breda

Our client Elacin has ambitious plans to continue growing and is entering a new phase.The position of Business Controller concerns a new addition to the Finance team with excellent growth potential.

As member of the Finance team the purpose of the role is to co-shape, develop and implement a successful business controlling strategy. Based on the (commercial) strategy the Business Controller will ensure an effective translation into a business controlling strategy in line and complementary to the business system. The Business Controller will continuously optimise and develop the Business Controlling function as a business partner in line with the mission and vision of the company.

Responsibilities: 

• Co-define the mission/vision and strategic plan for Business Controlling and translate these into year plans and targets
• Implement the strategic plan for Business Controlling
• Translate the strategic plan into operational plans and targets
• Acts as a sparringpartner and direct point of contact of the team of Directors
• Functional lead for all Business Controlling related subjects within the organization
• Continuously develop and optimise the Business controlling function
• Develop and maintain Business Controlling concepts, methods and tools which are capable of monitoring effective and timely Business planning and objective realisations
• Act as a role model for the company values and culture
• Set up and maintain relevant Business Planning systems and Tools integrated in the business system that enable correct and accurate business Planning on long term, annual and periodic basis
• Analyse business processes and make improvement proposals in cooperation with the commercial management 
• Perform financial business analysis in cooperation with the management
• Set up and maintain the modern cost price methodology for the group that supports and monitors the strategy for the group and enables sales price and margin evaluation
• Works closely together with the (Financial) Controller
• Direct reporting line to the Director Finance

Profile:

• Completed education in Finance on academic (university) level or Bachelor degree, preferably with a post master degree ‘Register Controller’ - Executive Master of Finance & Control (EMFC) 
• 5 years or more experience in a similar role in Business Controlling
• Experience within an international SME-environment
• Experience and knowledge of ERP systems, cost and management accounting
• High level Excel knowledge and modern BI tools
• Fluent in English and Dutch, written and spoken. Knowledge of French and/or German is highly appreciated
