Financial Controller in Rotterdam

For one of our clients located just south of Rotterdam we are looking for a Financial Controller. Highly international company with customers to be found all the world. Tasks and responsibilities:

• Responsible for the preparation of the financial reports, including monthly reports and budget reports of the company;
• Responsible for timely and adequate month-end closing for a number of entities;
• Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations for a number of entities in different countries;
• Responsible for timely publishing of financial statements and corporate income taxes;
• Responsible for coordinating auditing processes;
• Proactively involved in cross-departmental projects;
• Collaboration with other departments.

Profile:

• HBO/WO education, Accountancy / Finance;
• 5 years’ experience;
• Fluent in English language, possibly Dutch;
• Passionate and self-driven;
• Accounting and numeracy skills;
• Being up to date with regulations;
• Handling deadlines and pressure situations;
• Proficiency IT knowledge ( Excel, consolidation tool);
• Produces new ideas, approaches or insides;
• Listens, consults others and communicates proactively.
