Finance Manager in Moerdijk

Our client is a family company, and has grown organically to become a global specialist in stainless steel. The company has 72 branches, holdings and representative offices established across six continents in 30 countries. 

For the branche in Moerdijk we are looking for a Finance Manager to support the General Director and advise the MT. The role is vacant because of the retirement of the current Finance Manager. At the location in Moerdijk you are working with 47 colleagues and with 3 colleagues on finance. 

Responsibilities:

New:

• Development KPIs
• Set up & work with Team Finance & Controlling
• Adviser to MD regarding KPIs, Controlling & Financials in general

Annually:

• Prepare multiannual planning with management for head office
• Preparation of annual accounts for external auditor, taking care of all necessary documents, contact with audit team.
• Discussion of balance sheet
• Reporting to headquarter (year) plus conversion of Dutch annual accounts into foreign commercial law
• Performance interviews with financial administration staff 

On a monthly basis:

• Creating overviews for salary calculations
• Checking drafts of salaries
• Payroll tax returns
• BTW declaration
• ICT declaration
• Intrastat declaration
• Reporting to headquarter

Daily, weekly or if required:

• Booking payments
• Checking, signing passing on payments
• Contact bank, tax authority, accountant and tax consultant
• Contact with insurance intermediaries
• Checking, signing purchase contracts
• Checking, signing accounts
• Maintain contact for leasing machines/vehicles
• Preparation of weekly meeting with management team

Profile:

• You have at least HBO+ level, for example Economics and/ or Controlling
• You have at least 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience
• You can draft financial reports and have excellent knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge and experience with Power BI and SAP is an advantage
• You have excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English (German is an advantage)
• You have a pro active attitude and approach people easily
