For our client (production) in Oosterhout we are looking for a Finance & Compliance Manager Benelux. Are you working at a BIG 4 accounting firm and want to make a next move in your career, then definitely have a look at this opportunity!

The role of the Finance & Compliance Manager is:

  • To ensure that the control environment within the Benelux meets the standards required internally and external regulatory bodies
  • To drive harmonization and standardization in the financial processes across the Benelux
  • To manage and be part of business improvement projects such as Dashboard Power BI and Business Acquisition tool

Responsibilities:

  • Financial monitoring: perform plant visits to ensure that the key financial controls are well implemented, identify gaps and recommend control improvements;
  • Review the implementation of the key financial controls;
  • Test & review embedded control and key financial reports in the Order to Cash systems;
  • Work with the European Compliance Manager and be part of the European Compliance team to improve and standardise embedded controls;
  • Effectively communicate to plant controllers, country Controller & County CFO changes and improvements made to the key control environment.
  • Effectively translate Group & Divisional policies into Benelux way of working;
  • Perform theme reviews.
  • Identify best practices and encourage cross learning.
  • Organise quarterly meetings with chief accountants to communicate new developments and discuss common approach & implementation;
  • To manage and be part of business improvement projects such as Dashboard Power BI and Business Acquisition tool 

Key Competencies/Qualifications/Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration (Accounting & Control);
  • 3 to 5 years working experience in one of the Big 4 Accounting Firms;
  • Ability to act within different work environments and levels within the organisation;
  • Preferably knowledge of SAP;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, written and oral;
  • Ambition to develop within the organisation.
